The Two Gentlemen of Verona (& Sonnet 104)

BO15 Productions Ltd and The Messy Kind Collective have teamed up and are taking on the challenge of bringing a new flare to Shakespeare’s least well-known drama-comedy: “The Two Gentlemen Of Verona.” With the addition of “Sonnet 104.”

Adapted/Abridged and Directed by Evan L. Barker [a.d- Rome 3000 (Julius Caesar) 2022] - a cast of eight professional actors (East 15 Acting School, Guildford School of Acting & Royal Central School of Speech and Drama graduates) are re-contextualizing the play - to be set between three modern-day secondary schools (Verona- state, Milan- private, Mantua- Juvy), exploring the struggling Western youth of today, post Covid-19, their uncertain futures, and the age of social media and schoolyard hierarchy.
