Avocado start with a piece of their favourite music then groove into a natural improv that takes your troubles away.

“I get to play with dozens of great improvisers. My show with Avocado was a highlight. They play hard, they have fun, they take you to places you'd never imagine going to - what a blast - I can't wait to work with them again. Let me correct that: I can't wait to play with them again! Thank you for a great evening." - Dave Razowsky | Former Artistic Director of Second City

7 - 25 June 2022
7:00pm £15 / 10

Love (To) Bits is a seriously comedic drama or kind of a dramatic comedy, however you choose to look at it, there will be laughter… and some tears. Think of it as if Bridget Jones and Fleabag had a love child. How could you resist that?! The show incorporates verbatim theatre and Brechtian elements. The play is comprised of two story arcs. The main arc focuses on the romantic life of the lead character, Cynthia, who just loves love, but can't quite seem to ever get it right. The secondary one showcases different people’s verbatim answers to the age old question “What is love?”. The two are perpetually intertwined.

Youth makes us fearless, invincible and damn the consequences. But what happens when it’s time to face reality?

“Me & Her” takes the audience on a journey to explore the intricate complexities of the mother / daughter relationship. Leylah is introduced to us as a wild and dissatisfied teenager, desperate to escape her mother and create a new life where she can fulfil her potential: we follow her journey through the significant stages of her life, absorbing the hits and experiencing the twists and turns of life through Leylah’s eyes.

“Me & Her” is a show about naivety, trust, and what happens when we fall.

Flumps by Emma Pallett

Flumps Square.png

24 - 28 August 2022

From the company that produced last year’s five-star, award-winning ‘Brave Face', here comes 'Flumps'!

A comedic extravaganza of puppetry, music, & a hint of darkness, 'Flumps', written by Emma Pallett, is boldly bursting with wacky plot twists and eccentric realities.

This piece of new writing explores the lives of two siblings dreaming of a life filled with profligacy: Felicity (aged 8) and Harvey (age 13) spend summer alone in their caravan when their mother goes missing.

Will our two dysfunctional heroes find freedom in a life of cushioned fantasy or are they destined to face a reality of responsibilities, social services & ill-obtained furry friends?

Trigger warnings: Swearing, References to Drug/Alcohol Abuse.

Age restriction: This show is intended for a 12 + audience
